My name is Jill and I manage Independent Debt Solutions.

After gaining several years experience within both not for profit and commercial debt advice companies, I decided to set up a debt advice company offering something different. Many commercial debt advice companies charge high fees and "pigeon-hole” their clients, selling products rather than listening to the client to find out what has caused their debt problem and what their wishes are in regard to property and cars. 

Why we are different.

Independent debt solutions is different.  We believe when you phone you should always speak to an advisor who does not use scripts, we believe every client is unique and as such all the advice we give is unique to you.  We do not believe debt problems can be solved with an online questionnaire or with a quick phone call.  We visit every client to discuss in detail their personal and unique situation. 

Once we have a full understanding of our client’s needs, we discuss a range of debt solution, clearly explaining the pros and cons of each one.  We don’t give false promises.  We believe you need to know the truth about your debt situation.  We understand that once you have made the difficult decision to phone for debt advice, time is of the essence.  Depending on where you stay and how flexible you can be with times, we aim to visit you within 48 hours of your call.

We do not charge fees for our services.  If you decide a particular solution is for you and you decide to use the companies we deal with, we may receive a payment from those companies.   We feel this is the fairest option, as we can offer our quick and friendly service without asking you to pay our costs.  You can be assured that we will offer best advice at all times and discuss with you the alternatives of using not for profit organisations.

We are based in Falkirk and only deal with clients living in Scotland.  Remember we come to visit you.
